Today marks the day this site, a tribute to one of the founding fathers of hip hop, goes live.
While its true their isn’t much Slick Rick news and information out there we feel Slick Rick needs his own place on the web to keep old and new fans informed as to whats going on all in one single website instead of having to visit dozens to find new information.

Superstar rap artist Slick Rick has spent the last 17 months in an INS detention in Florida despite a judges ruling on Friday, October 31st that he be released from custody and INS cease in their attempts to deport the rap legend.
However due to a computer error at the New York based courthouse the judges ruling was unable to be properly issued to the appropriate departments and so the INS does not have to release him yet.
This incident has caused such an uproar from the african-american community that the Department of Homeland Security was forced to issue a press release saying “This is not a conspiracy on the part of the Department of Homeland Security, It’s like when you mail a rent check to your landlord and it doesn’t register right away.”
